I am Eng. Ragy Hassan, Chairman of the Xpress Group of Companies.
I would like to talk about our relationship with Namasoft. Our relationship began in 2016, that is, about 7 years ago. We work with Namasoft across three companies. Their activities are as follows:

The first company covers everything related to the automotive field. This of course includes selling spare parts and many other things specific to the automotive business.
We have worked with Namasoft since the company opened. Thankfully, we have been working with them for seven years.
I want to talk about two or three points. It is not meaningful to say that the software gives you stores, invoices and so on; that is normal and there is nothing new or different about it.
What I see as an excellent strength for Nama is flexibility. And why do I want to talk about flexibility? Because of change.
In the Egyptian market, the Egyptian government is trying to change through e-government. This has a daily impact, as new decisions come out from the Ministry of Finance, from Egyptian Customs, from export and import control, or even from the consumer protection agency. All of these decisions change laws relating to trade and laws relating to the financial side of trade.
That in turn demands very strong flexibility from the system you run on, and not only flexibility but speed too. If there is a delay in delivering this, it may mean the company stops for a month, two or three.
For us as a service company in car servicing, a day makes a difference; in car servicing you count by the day. If we stopped for a day or two, that could mean a large amount of money lost, and also a very large number of customers dissatisfied with the level of service.
Again, we are talking about change: there is change arising from government, there is change arising from the economic situation in the market, and there is change arising from ideas you are trying to put in place as an owner or a manager of a company in order to realise them on the ground.
So either I am the one making the change, or the market imposes the change on me, or the government imposes it.
In all three cases, change happens. I do not believe there is a country in the world with the volume of change that has occurred in Egypt over the last two or three years, and that is why I have chosen today to talk about the flexibility of Nama ERP.
I consider Nama ERP the best system I have worked with when it comes to flexibility. You can now change the operation easily, you can build different reporting modules easily, and you can control many of the system’s tools very easily indeed.
This aspect of Nama is one I do not see in any other system. With any other system, they may develop what you want, but when you want to make a change, the impact of that change on the company’s work is different: it requires major preparation and, of course, very high cost.
What is enjoyable and good about software is that you can make changes, whether they are imposed on you or are ones you want, in the shortest possible time and at the lowest possible cost.
The second distinctive thing about Nama is reporting. For example, the principle of validation based on criteria is a very good idea, whereby an action cannot be carried out unless a specific condition is met.
This delivers both quality control and quality assurance for us.
Through the principle of validation based on criteria, we can stop the process when any condition is not met.
As an example, if I do not want to sell anything below cost, I can control that.
As another example, if I want an item to leave the store only if its quantity is a multiple of ten (10, 20, 30, and so on), we can achieve that easily.
That way I can stop before the action is carried out.
The other point is that after the process is complete, I can extract the data easily through reports.
So what I see is that Nama gives me flexibility and, at the same time, lets me control the path of the process.
I chose to talk about these two points because I see them as distinctive and because they deliver part of what I want.
In other words: make the change you want, and at the same time do not worry about major problems appearing.
Of course I will not mention the other features, since like any ERP system it tracks customers through CRM, and covers stores, invoices and so on, and lately the tax invoice. Nama has of course made an excellent effort, and we now submit the tax invoice automatically and immediately, which was a very important feature for us.
