- Eng. Qasid: We are pleased to have you with us at the company’s premises today, and we would like to hear your view of Nama ERP, of the company and of its performance with you. To begin with, we would like to know about your company.

Mr. Emad: We are a group of companies. We are a cement trading company, one of the largest in Egypt in this field, with a large market share. We also have a transport company serving our business, and it is not a small one, plus two other companies. So the size of our business is not small, thankfully.

- Eng. Qasid: With a business of that size, and bearing in mind that cement trading is somewhat different, what made you choose Nama ERP to work on?

Mr. Emad: The reason I chose it is that I had previous experience with another product with you personally and with Mr. Yasser Gad, and I was impressed with its performance. The previous system had also impressed me; it was reasonable. So when I learned that you had designed a new system, I expected it to be better than the previous one, and indeed it is better by a long way. It met more than my requirements, and I found it far exceeded my expectations, especially since our company works in the cement field. I looked for a local product that would cover my requirements and found none, so I realised I needed a new system tailored to us, and I understood that you were the best to take on that task. Thankfully, the system is excellent and I found it to be as I expected and much more.

- Eng. Qasid: Thank God. A question that may sound repetitive: how much has your work improved, that is, to what extent has Nama ERP helped improve the way you work?

Mr. Emad: Before the system and after the system? A great deal. The difference is beyond comparison. When I first took over as CEO, the company was working in Excel. After implementing Nama ERP, the difference became enormous and incomparable. There is ease of mind and confidence in the work, correct results, speed, everything.

- Eng. Qasid: What do you think of the cost of Nama ERP compared with the advantages it delivers?

Mr. Emad: Very, very good. Mr. Yasser, the company’s manager, is genuinely very easy to negotiate with when purchasing the system, with any client. Your goal is not money, as it is with some other companies. Your goal is the system’s success with the client; it is a partnership. The client’s success is Namasoft’s success.

- Eng. Qasid: That is the core idea in this respect: it is a partnership, and we do not view the client as merely a deal. It is an ongoing relationship, and the more successful the client, the more successful we are. Indeed, there are clients who come to the company simply because they saw the system at other clients, liked it and saw the client’s recommendation of it.

- Eng. Qasid: During the training and implementation period, was the performance satisfactory for you?

Mr. Emad: Yes. I was lucky to work with a highly capable implementer; he understood the work very well, was very energetic and wasted no time. We got on very well and his work was genuinely excellent.

- Eng. Qasid: And when you moved on to technical support?

Mr. Emad: As for technical support, my only comment is that I feel support has a lot of work with other clients. But once they focus on me, my work gets done, so I feel that any delay that occurs is because they are overloaded. That is my impression. It may be right or wrong.

- Eng. Qasid: Understood. Are there any substantial improvements you think Nama ERP needs to support?

Mr. Emad: Yes, you should pay attention to the tax side. Tax forms and tax notices must be ready, such as Form 41, and tax notices must be available.

- Eng. Qasid: Understood. It exists, but the way it is handled differs from one client to another depending on the source of the data. When a client asks for one of the tax forms (such as Form 41), the question is what the source of the data is from which you want to draw the tax figures. In your case, for example, it might be on a debit note or a credit note, whereas another client asks for the deduction rates themselves to be entered inside the invoice. So the data source differs.

I am very pleased to have met you. If you have any comments, please go ahead.

Mr. Emad: I am very pleased with your company. I feel I am a partner with you, and I see that you want the system to succeed regardless of the financial return, which is something that does not exist at most other companies in the market. I recommend it to financial managers among my friends who work at major companies. In my personal assessment, Nama ERP is on its way to reaching the international products, and indeed it does not compare with any local product, and I say that without flattery. I have been working with systems since 1998, and Nama ERP is the last system I have worked with; it does not compare with any other. I always look into the details of the other systems presented to us by other companies, and there is a very big difference between you and those other systems. I think what you lack is publicity; if clients got to know Nama ERP and tried it, I do not think they would leave it.

- Eng. Qasid: God willing, we will work on that point. Thank you very much for your time; we are pleased to have you with us.

Mr. Emad: Thank you.

- Eng. Qasid: Peace be upon you.

Mr. Emad: And upon you be peace.
